Genevieve Graham
ABOUT
Genevieve graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Design for Performance) and a Master of Fine Arts (Design for Performance). In her final year, she designed costumes for the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra’s new opera Bittersweet Obsessions, later returning in 2024 to design costumes for Notre Dame with the same company.
Following graduation, Genevieve designed costumes for Season 2 of Channel Seven’s television series Drop Dead Weird. She has since designed extensively for Ensemble Theatre, shows including Diplomacy, The Appleton Ladies’ Potato Race, A Christmas Carol, The Queen’s Nanny, and Colder Than Here, collaborating with acclaimed directors such as John Bell, Priscilla Jackman, Janine Watson, and Damien Ryan.
In 2022, Genevieve was the costume designer on two new television series: Appetite for SBS and The Disposables for ABC ME. In 2024. She went on to design costumes for the ABC iView series Optics, in 2024 written by and starring Jenna Owen, Vic Zerbst, and Charles Firth. In 2025, she designed the costumes for Season 2 of the beloved ABC series Austin, starring Michael Theo.
Most recently, she collaborated with director Stevie Cruz-Martin as costume designer on the highly anticipated Stan series Careless.
